Hi! I’m Chanelle and I’m based in Northamptonshire. On this platform you can expect to see lots of food, drink and frolics! These frolics will include places from around where I live in Northamptonshire, but also places abroad and in other areas of the UK. When I say “frolics” – I basically mean waltzing around different places, taking pretty pictures, and then feeding back on what I got up to and what my thoughts are. It was also include a bit of fitness, fashion, beauty and anything else that takes my fancy.

Background

I have been blogging since 2013 and have explored many avenues such as beauty, fashion and fitness. I have my old blog which I’ll keep private, as I cringe at myself a little bit at older posts, but I’d also like to keep them for myself so that I can look back on them in the future.

In June 2019 I was made redundant from my job and I found myself a little bit lost. So I decided to sit down and make a plan of where I wanted my blogging to take me. I decided to start from scratch and make a new Instagram that made me get out of the house and get exploring. I love food and travel and to be honest I don’t know why I hadn’t explored this avenue sooner.

The Future

Sounds mad, but having an Instagram has given me opportunities that I’d never have thought I’d be able to have. My first event that I got invited to was a gin evening, I’ll never forget it and I’ll always be forever grateful to those who made it happen for me.

I’ve been offered amazing job opportunities, made some great friends, learnt countless lessons from inspiring bloggers, and have found a whole new community that I never knew existed! I am loving

I don’t want to turn this into a LinkedIn profile, but I’ve also recently delved into the freelancing world – I freelance in PR, Digital and Copywriting, and again this wouldn’t have happened without my Instagram. Through that platform is where I met people that have encouraged me and given me advice to go down this avenue – and I’m loving it! I kinda have 3 different jobs now, I work for Pilkington Comms, Northants Life and Onefoursix (go check them out, they are all really cool companies!)
